Busy, busy, pushing
50 emails in your inbox a day, a ticking watch on your wrist, tax bills on the doormat and thoughts that are constantly on what to do tomorrow. You know that a walk in the woods broadens the mind, a Sunday doing nothing is good for you and that daily meditation helps for inner peace. But complying with this is also quite difficult.

A journey of reflection through the desert
This place is the Sahara . A seemingly bizarre natural phenomenon, almost inhuman at times. Huge colored dunes and beautiful views and what immediately stands out is the space . Lots of space! Standing on top of a sand dune, close your eyes and hear the absolute silence of the desert. The ringing of your ears makes it seem like you just came out of a pop concert.

Addiction
The desert itself doesn’t do much to disconnect you from home. Rather, it holds up a mirror to you. This allows you to experience yourself as complete , without distraction from the busy outside world . The thoughts, which you could not give place at home, suddenly fall together like puzzle pieces and after a while there are no thoughts at all. You experience the present and you enjoy all the overwhelming natural beauty. Travelers call it an addiction, but maybe it’s life as it’s meant to be.
